★ maiz de la vida – east nashville + the gulch - authentic mexican flavors meet serious craft. every tortilla is made from heirloom corn ground fresh daily. don’t skip the quesabirria or the crispy fish tacos — they’re local legends for a reason.

★ locust – 12south - a small but mighty dining experience serving creative bites like lamb dumplings, caviar, and shaved ice desserts. reservations are hard to snag, but it’s worth the chase for something truly one-of-a-kind.
